Costa Cruises has announced the arrival in the Costa fleet of 24,400gt Costa Voyager with 416 cabins. The vessel entered service in 2000 and previously operated as Grand Voyager in the Iberocruceros fleet. Before entering the Costa fleet, the ship will be undergoing a €2.5m renovation starting from tomorrow through to November 19, at the San Giorgio shipyard in Genoa.
Swan Hellenic's Minerva will interrupt her planned itinerary on November 23, in Sharm El Sheik and will sail in ballast to Germany where she will be drydocked for almost two months at Lloyd Werft shipyard to undergo an extensive upgrade.
With the snip of a ribbon aboard Sapphire Princess, Princess Cruises marked the completion of a three-year project to add The Sanctuary across its fleet. The work on Sapphire Princess was also the first step in extensive changes that will come during a multi-week drydock starting in early January.
