Norwegian Jewel makes a maiden call at Pago Pago in October
A dozen cruise ship visits are scheduled for Pago Pago this year, carrying around 28,000 passengers.

There will be three maiden calls by Oceania Cruises' Sirena, Princess Cruises’ Emerald Princess and Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Jewel.

Sea Princess will be the first to arrive on January 19.

She will be followed by Pacific Venus (January 25), Pacific Princess (February 1), Insignia (February 10), Seven Seas Navigator (February 11), Sirena (February 21), Noordam (April 16), Emerald Princess (April 22), Sirena again (May 3), Emerald Princess again (October 21), Norwegian Jewel (October 29) and Regatta (November 25).

Last year there were 15 cruise ship visits, including Costa Atlantica, which was making a 46-day round cruise to the South Pacific from Tianjin.
