A second world tour for CMV’s Columbus

Columbus will return to Shanghai again in 2019
Cruise & Maritime Voyages is gearing up for Columbus’ 120 night round the world cruise departing from London Tilbury on January 5, 2019.

This will be the vessel’s second world cruise under CMV livery following her 2017/18 voyage of the same duration.

Visiting 40 destinations Columbus crosses the Atlantic to the Caribbean, transits the Panama Canal, Acapulco, South Pacific islands, New Zealand and Australia. Returning north from Sydney, past the Great Barrier Reef, Japan, China, South East Asia, India, Arabia and the Mediterranean.

Fares start from £7,999pp for an inside cabin and £9,999pp for an ocean view cabin, a saving of up to 55%.

Australia and New Zealand calls

Highlights of the Columbus Grand Round include four islands in the South Pacific, calls in Auckland and Christchurch, New Zealand, calls in Sydney for the iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge, the Whitsunday Isles and a chance to visit the Great Barrier Reef.

Columbus will call in Yokohama for a visit to Tokyo whilst Kagoshima offers a more relaxing experience to discover Japanese culture and heritage. Arriving in China, Columbus will call at Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Sailing into South East Asia, Columbus will call in Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. Then calls in Cochin, India, Oman, Egypt and Jordan before transiting the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean calling in Israel, Malta and Portugal before returning to London Tilbury May 5, 2019.
