Capt. Michael McCarthy, chair of Cruise Europe and commercial manager for Ireland’s Port of Cork, will be under the spotlight with Crystal Cruises’ Edie Rodrigues and Starcrest Consulting’s Bruce Anderson.
McCarthy will discuss Britains withdrawal from the European Union and the impact of increasing security threats.
ACA’s ceo Jill Abel has also announced that cruise industry veteran Ted Blamey of Chart Management Consultants will outline the importance of the Asia region and Mark Olsen of EarthCheck, the Queensland-based international tourism advisory group, will discuss destination development.
Abel said there will be a spectacular fireworks display over Sydney Harbour before the gala dinner at the Opera House Marquee hosted by Abercrombie and Kent.
