'Adam has a wealth of industry and brand knowledge built from his five years with RCL and, prior to this, his time with Carnival Corporation, and whilst his background is operations, I believe he has all the skills required to prove himself commercially and to become an outstanding leader,' Bouldin said.

Sharp most recently served as head of port operations & guest services, Europe, Middle East & Africa for parent company Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. He'll start his new job Sept. 26.

Sharp will work alongside Nicki Lewis, head of sales support; John Wilson, head of consumer outreach; and Sarah Weetman, head of retail. He will directly manage David Hearn, strategic account manager for tour operators, and national account managers Andrea Keeble, Angela Hall and Stephen Joyer.
