Adverse weather also delays Pacific Eden’s arrival in Sydney
A low pressure trough affecting the east coast of Australia delayed Pacific Eden’s arrival in Sydney today.

It is the second P&O Cruises Australia ship to be delayed by strong winds and a heavy swell in as many days.

Friday Pacific Pearl arrived shortly before she was due to sail again at 4 p.m. and outgoing passengers who left around 10 p.m. on a short 'Sea Break' were compensated with shipboard credits.

The 1,500-passenger Pacific Eden, which was due to arrive early this morning from a 12-night New Year’s cruise, arrived around midday. Like Pacific Pearl, instead of sailing at 4 p.m. she will now leave later this evening on an eight-night ‘Secrets of the South’ round cruise to Eden, the Mornington Peninsula, Portland and Kangaroo Island.
