AIDAaura will embark on a 117-day world cruise taking her to 41 ports in 20 countries. The cruise starts in Hamburg on October 8, 2018 and returns on February 2, 2019. Numerous destinations – including South Africa, Namibia, Tasmania, Melbourne, Fiji, Samoa and New Caledonia – are called for the first time in AIDA's history. The world cruise is available from Euros15,995.
As announced previously, AIDA's latest vessel, AIDAnova, debuting next autumn is going to operate on a weekly itinerary from Gran Canaria and Tenerife to Madeira, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.
Under the 'AIDA Selection' banner, AIDAvita embarks on new itineraries based in Singapore.
On two occasions in December 2018 and January 2019, 21-day itineraries are operated to Australia and Indonesia. These include among others a three-day stopover at Darwin as well as calls to four Indonesian islands: Java, Bali, Komodo and Lombok.
Other itineraries take AIDAvita to the Philippines, Vietnam and Hong Kong.
Passengers can combine an eleven-day cruise to Brunei, the Philippines and Hong Kong with a ten-day itinerary from Hong Kong back to Singapore with calls at various ports in Vietnam, including among others Ha Long, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City.
In combination, these two itineraries form a 21-day cruise including a two-day stopover at Hong Kong. The cruises are available from November 2018 until March 2019.
Also AIDAbella is being deployed in Asia, operating several itineraries from Bangkok to Singapore and Malaysia as well as two cruises from Bangkok to Shanghai and from Shanghai to Singapore.
AIDA returns to many familiar destinations in 2018/19. Once again, winter cruises will be offered from Hamburg to Norway in February and March 2019 on both AIDAaura and AIDAcara.
The line is also adding longer cruises going beyond the accustomed seven to fourteen days rotation.
