Both the 'Golden Treasures of Myanmar' and 'Hidden Wonders of Myanmar' programs feature stops at former royal capitals, ancient monasteries and other majestic landmarks.
Passengers embark for the 'Golden Treasures of Myanmar' 10-day cruise at the port city of Pyay, where they have a welcome dinner, followed by a full day of tours featuring Sri Kestra Museum and Payagi Pagoda. Continuing its journey upstream, AmaPura heads to Minhla where passengers can explore a colonial fort and shop at a local market. In the small town of Salay, they will visit Yokesonekyaung, the region’s oldest surviving wooden monastery.
The journey continues to Bagan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where passengers can view sunset from an observation tower or visit the top of the Guni Temple for a candle-lighting ceremony before heading to Mandalay for disembarkation.

'Hidden Wonders of Myanmar' is a more in-depth, 14-day experience. Passengers embark at Mandalay, and visit some of the city’s top sights including the Kuthodaw Pagoda. The voyage continues to the former royal capital of Sagaing. An extensive tour of Bagan includes views from Mount Popa's summit. Travelers then visit several small delta towns before ending their voyage in Yangon.
Cruise-only pricing for this itinerary, which also goes upstream from Yangon to Mandalay, starts at $6,599 per person.
