Carnival Splendor - will visit the Bahamas on this week's revised sailing
This week's Carnival Splendor cruise from Miami will be revised due to a technical issue that's affecting the ship's maximum speed.

The March 5 sailing will offer an overnight stay at Nassau and a full day at Freeport.

The itinerary should have included Grand Cayman, Roatán's Mahogany Bay, Belize City and Cozumel.

It is the second cruise in a row impacted by the technical issue.

Passengers can cancel for a free refund. Those who sail will get a 50% refund, a 50% future cruise credit and a $100 per person on-board credit.

The 2008-built Carnival Splendor underwent a drydock in March last year at Grand Bahama Shipyard.
