Anthem of the Seas - to leave Papenburg harbor Tuesday afternoon
Meyer Werft has brought forward Anthem of the Seas' conveyance along the Ems River to the sea. It is now to begin at about 2 p.m. local time Tuesday, with the ship expected to arrive at Eemshaven at about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The change was made after evaluating the latest weather forecasts. Originally, the conveyance was planned to start Wednesday morning.

Changes are still possible, depending on weather and water levels in the Ems.

Footage of the conveyance will streamed live here.

At the Netherlands' port of Eemshaven, food, fuel and water will be loaded and this second Quantum-class ship will undergo technical trials in the North Sea. Anthem of the Seas will then go to the north German port of Bremerhaven where work will continue and the crew training will be carried out.

The handover to Royal Caribbean International is set for April.
