At NCLH, Revell becomes chairman, Genting appoints 2 directors
Long-time Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings director Walter Revell was appointed chairman of the board, while Genting Hong Kong, a major shareholder, named two new directors to fill its recently vacated spots.

Kevin C. Jones and Blondel So King Tak were appointed by Genting HK to assume the director slots previously held by Tan Sri KT Lim and David Chua.

Revell, 80, who succeeds Lim as chairman, has served as a director and chaired the board's audit committee since 2005. He was a director of certain predecessor companies beginning in 1993. Since 1984, Revell has been chairman and ceo of Revell Investments International, a diversified investment, development and management company in Coral Gables, Florida.

Jones is the general counsel, secretary and svp of corporate development & strategy for Genting Americas, an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Genting Malaysia Berhad. He oversees all legal, corporate compliance, risk management and strategic corporate development matters for the North American operations of Genting Malaysia.

Before his current position, Jones practiced law at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, serving as counsel for multibillion-dollar companies in a broad range of general corporate and real estate transactions.

So joined Genting HK as chief financial officer in July 2007. In late 2009, he was appointed chief operating officer and in 2014 became evp corporate services and country head of Hong Kong and Macau for Genting HK. So also serves as a director of various subsidiaries of Genting HK.

He has more than 23 years of experience in the financial sector, including 15 years in banking.
