Steven Spivak, the Connecticut-based vp global sales for Tauck who is visting Sydney this week, said Australia has replaced the UK as No. 2 source market for the company after the United States.

Spivak spoke at a media lunch he co-hosted today at Aria Restaurant overlooking Circular Quay with Andrew Millmore, whose company, Travel the World, has represented Tauck in Australia for around 30 years.

Spivak, who is launching Tauck’s 2018 products, said his 92-year-old company ‘does small better than anyone.’

He said it has continued to keep groups small because ‘luxury is never crowded.’
