Australia ready to Burn the Floor for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings

NCLH is looking for performers to fill hundreds of roles across its portfolio of cabaret, circus and Broadway productions, including After Midnight, Rock of Ages, Cirque Dreams and Australia’s Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Burn the Floor.

 

Auditions will continue in Adelaide (November 5), Brisbane (November 7-8) and Melbourne (November 9-10).

 

‘Australia is always a core country for recruiting cruise ship entertainers because of the sheer amount of talent we witness every time we come here,’ director of entertainment production for Norwegian Creative Studios, Robert Hertenstein, said.

 

‘Australia’s performers have outstanding technique and are experienced across all forms of dance which is why we regard our talent from Down Under as the jewels in our crown,’ Hertenstein said.

 

Steve Odell, svp and md Asia Pacific, said the dedicated production division is now responsible for the entertainment offering across NCLH’s entire 25-strong fleet encompassing the vessels of Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

 

‘This means that at any one time more than 450 performers are working across our ships, supported by many more hundreds of production and backstage crew,’ Odell said.
