Avalon Waterways has extended its fly free offers in Australia, its No. 2 global source market after the United States, for bookings made by August 31.

Australians fly free to Europe on any 2017 river cruise of 16 days or more and on any 2017 Mekong or Irrawaddy voyage.

A return economy class airfare of from $945 per passenger is available for European river cruises of seven to 15 days.

Avalon, a member of the Globus family of brands, has also waived the single supplement for all 2017 European river cruises booked by July 29.

MD Australasia Stewart Williams said Avalon took on board advice from Australian and New Zealand passengers in the design of its Suite Ships and this proved to be a great success.
