Avoya appoints vp to help guide corporate strategy, development

Avoya Travel appointed a new vice president, Jeff Lavender, to play a key role in leading corporate strategy and development initiatives. Lavender brings more than 20 years of experience in driving global sales, maximizing revenue and growing margins, leading teams, strategic planning, product development and cutting-edge technology.

Lavender has held senior leadership and business development roles with Travel Impressions and American Express Vacations, Viator.com, EuropAssistance, Macau.com, Travelport France, Travelocity Europe, Preview Travel and Amadeus.

'Jeff’s travel industry experience will be integral in strengthening Avoya’s strategic position, growing market share and optimizing efficiencies to benefit the Avoya Network, supplier partners and travelers,' Avoya Travel president Brad Anderson said.
