Avoya turns up the sales heat with Mastermind 212ᵒ personal business coaching
Avoya Travel reports success with the advanced Mastermind 212ᵒ, an optional, by-invitation advanced program for Independent Agencies with at least $500,000 in gross annual sales and the ability to reach more than $1m in sales.

Since Mastermind 212ᵒ’s launch in 2015, nearly 100 Independent Agencies have participated, with impressive results—more than 40% have reached over $1m in annual sales. Avoya said sales for the group in 2016 are already up 53% over last year.

Mastermind 212ᵒ extends the Avoya Mastermind program of group sessions to provide personal coaching. The 212ᵒ concept derives from the one-degree difference between hot water at 211 degrees and the power of boiling water at 212 degrees.

The program asks Independent Agencies for an extra degree of commitment to grow their business and is based on studies by Avoya that conclude mastering advanced sales and customer service techniques are typically imperative to achieving sales success. This advanced education program provides access to virtual one-on-one sessions, best practices on business systems, sales tips, vendor specialization, trend-watching and more on a voluntary basis to select Independent Agencies.

Tammie Richie, director of the Avoya Mastermind program, oversees Mastermind 212ᵒ and works closely with each participating Independent Agency, analyzing their businesses to identify challenges and major opportunities for growth. With more than 25 years of experience as a travel professional, Richie is also a certified behavioral consultant, giving her a well-informed perspective on the personal side of sales, as well as knowing the obstacles and rewards of owning an independent travel agency.

'A business coach is costly and often a luxury to a small home-based business owner,' said Scott Koepf, svp sales, Avoya Travel. 'At the same time, it’s a valuable resource to drive success and keep motivation levels high. We offer this service for free to Independent Agencies in the Avoya network who have the proven capacity to build their business and want professional fine-tuning to quickly and efficiently close more sales.'
