Baie-Comeau's 10th cruise season starts with arrival of Pearl Mist
The arrival of Pearl Mist this Wednesday marks the start of Baie-Comeau's 2016 cruise season and the earliest start so far in its 10 years of welcoming cruise ships.

In 2015, the same vessel called at the port on June 1. This is the third consective year that the Pearl Seas Cruises' ship has visited Baie-Comeau and it will make four calls this year, with passengers visiting attractions such as Franquelin Lumberjack Village, the Church of St Amelia and the local Manor.

Baie-Comeau, located some 400km north-east of Quebec City is expecting more than 8,800 passengers and crew in a busy season that is 13% up on last year. The bulk of ships, 11 in total, will visit in the fall.

For the first time two ships will be in port on the same day: Seabourn Quest and Pearl Mist on September 15, 2016.
