Blue World Voyages—the start-up devoted to 'Active Lifestyle Cruising'—gave the first look at its suites, fitness and training areas, spa amenities and retractable saltwater lap pool in a new video.

The three-minute clip previews an experience centered on fitness and wellness throughout every voyage and shows a sleek, contemporary and luxurious style.

Full decks for sports and wellness

Full decks are devoted to sports and fitness, and spa and wellness.

'Blue World Voyages was created for health-conscious individuals, sports and fitness enthusiasts, and those in search of personal discoveries,' chairman and co-founder Gene Meehan said. 'Our focus on "Active Lifestyle Cruising" is not an option or an add-on, it is embedded into every aspect of the company, and I think this video captures our commitment.'

Ports selected for their activities

The company plans three 350-pasenger ships, with ports selected based on the availability of activities such as cycling, hiking, golf and watersports, access to areas conducive to yoga and meditation, and opportunities for cultural and learning experiences.

Blue World has entered into partnerships with Outside magazine, Oxygen magazine, Hank Haney Golf and Yoga Journal for developing branded programs including special partner-sponsored voyages.

The 'Ship to Shore' video covers interior and exterior spaces designed by Tomas Tillberg Design, a specialist in cruise ships, with furnishings and interior décor by Juan Poggi of Poggi Design.
