The 3,560-berth Regal Princess and Royal Princess, sailing for the first time together, will offer 10 departures on four itineraries, visiting 12 destinations.
Royal Princess makes 10- to 11-day voyages from Québec and New York featuring overnight stays in Québec. These cruises visit Newport, Boston, Portland, Saint John (New Brunswick), Halifax, Sydney (Cape Breton Island) and Charlottetown (Prince Edward Island). The 11-day cruises stay overnight in Boston. Sailing dates are Sept. 25, Oct. 5 and Oct. 16.
In addition, Royal Princess offers a 14-day 'Canada & Colonial America' cruise from Québec to Fort Lauderdale that stops at Saguenay (with scenic cruising of the Saguenay Fjord), Sydney, Halifax, Saint John, Bar Harbor, Boston, Newport, New York and Norfolk. This cruise departs Oct. 26.
Regal Princess sails on seven-day cruises round-trip New York (Brooklyn Cruise Terminal), visiting Newport, Boston, Bar Harbor, Saint John and Halifax. Departures are Sept. 22, Sept. 29, Oct. 6, Oct. 13 and Oct. 20.
A five-day 'Canadian Atlantic Provinces Getaway' from New York is also being offered aboard Regal Princess on Oct. 27 to Saint John and Halifax.
Two cruise-tours are available, to sites of colonial America or Niagara Falls and eastern Canada. 'Historic America' includes such important places as Thomas Jefferson's Monticello estate, Colonial Williamsburg, Independence Hall in Philadelphia and the Gettysburg Battlefield.
'Maple Explorer' features Niagra Falls, the capital of Ottawa and French-flavored Montréal with guided tours of the Canadian Museum of Civilization, cathedrals and the historic 19th-century Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A cruise through the picturesque Thousand Islands is included, too.
The cruises open for sail Dec. 1.
Captain's Circle loyalty members are eligible for savings of $50 per person for the first two passengers in a stateroom when they book before Aug. 31, 2017.
