Rachel York's latest Broadway project is 'Head Over Heels,' a musical comedy whose producers include Gwyneth Paltrow and Jordan Roth
Acclaimed singer and actor Rachel York is the godmother of Crystal River Cruises' newest vessel, Crystal Debussy. She will preside over the May 28 christening ceremony at the Port of Amsterdam.

York is a Crystal passenger favorite as part of the 'Crystal on Broadway' program, which brings performers and producers from some of Broadway's biggest shows to Crystal’s theaters and lounges for special performances and presentations. She will next perform on Crystal Mahler’s May 28 cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest.

'Rachel’s tremendous talents and charm transcend demographics and connects with audiences throughout the world,' Crystal president and CEO Tom Wolber said.

York’s latest project on Broadway is 'Head Over Heels,' a new musical comedy produced by Gwyneth Paltrow, Jordan Roth and others, and featuring hits of the Go-Gos. Her portfolio has also included critically acclaimed Broadway turns in 'City of Angels,' 'Victor/Victoria' with Crystal Serenity godmother Dame Julie Andrews and, most recently, 'Disaster! The Musical.' On screen, she is best known for her starring role in the Lucille Ball biopic 'Lucy.'
