Work on positioning Flying Clipper's five masts, rigging and sails to start post launch on June 10, at Brodosplit
Star Clippers' newbuild Flying Clipper, currently under construction in Croatia, is due to be launched at Brodosplit shipyard, on Saturday.

Estimated time of delivery is still set for first quarter of 2018, confirmed a shipyard spokesman.

The five-masted sailing ship will be outfitted in Brodosplit and sailing masts and sails added at the shipyard, he confirmed to Seatrade Cruise News.

Flying Clipper is modelled on France II, a legendary sailing ship that, when it was launched in 1912, was the world's biggest.

The vessel will have 150 cabins, including 34 balcony cabins and four owner’s suites, a two deck main restaurant, a watersports platform at the stern, an 18ft dive pool spanning two decks, and two other deck-top pools.
