Capt. Thomas Hinderhofer - Anthem of the Seas continues to impress with year-round sailings
Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, New Jersey, chalked up record passenger volumes in 2017. The port handled 593,403 passenger movements, a 15% increase from 2016.

Passengers traveled on Royal Caribbean International's Anthem of the Seas and Vision of the Seas, Celebrity Summit and TUI Cruises’ Mein Schiff 6 in the line's first visit to Bayonne.

'We are forecasting another great year with over 700,000 passenger movements for 2018,' Capt. Thomas Hinderhofer, director, North East Port operations for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., told Seatrade Cruise News.

This is due to the addition of Adventure of the Seas in the summer and fall and continued calls by Mein Schiff 6 in the fall.

'Anthem of the Seas continues to impress with her all-year-round sailings,' Hinderhofer said. 'Last but not least, we look forward to inviting back Celebrity Summit for her summer and fall programs.'
