Jennifer Vandekreeke said her sales team 'can't wait' to sell international itineraries
Carnival Cruise Line vp Australia Jennifer Vandekreeke announced her local sales team will handle bookings for the company’s international itineraries from January 1.

The move means Australian travel agents will have a one-stop shop for local and international Carnival Cruise Line products.

Vandekreeke called it a ‘natural progression’ for the cruise line.

‘Since we launched Carnival Spirit in the Australian market in 2012 we have been focussed on the operation and promotion of our local ships,’ she said.

‘Now that Carnival has successfully established a strong local team it makes sense for us to expand our support for sales to our internationally based ships.

‘It is an exciting time for us, particularly given Carnival Vista’s launch in Europe next May, so we can’t wait to start working with agents on our international cruise offering.’

Vandekreeke said her team has been working with Carnival Cruise Line’s current international gsa in Australia, Travel the World, to transition the business. She added Travel the World has been an outstanding partner of the brand over the past decade.

From January 1 the contact for trade queries for local and international bookings will be 133194 and the website will be www.GoCCL.com.au.
