Carnival Corp. app lets viewers watch its original travel content on the go

Carnival Corp. & plc's new OceanView Mobile application lets people watch the company's original US travel series and other travel shows at home, on the go and at sea.

OceanView Mobile is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and features free content from Carnival Corp. OceanView also will be available in late October on the company's Ocean.com website.

Top-rated travel shows plus ship christenings, construction and culinary highlights

Viewers can select from more than 150 full episodes of 'Ocean Original' shows like 'The Voyager with Josh Garcia' (which airs weekly on NBC), 'Ocean Treks with Jeff Corwin' and 'Vacation Creation with Tommy Davidson and Andrea Feczko' (both of which air weekly on ABC) and 'Good Spirits,' as well as 30 short-form episodes of original series 'GO' and 'Local Eyes.'

OceanView also will showcase video collections from the corporation's cruise brands, with viewers able to check out ship christening ceremonies featuring royalty and celebrities, as well as the process of ship design and construction, elaborate culinary creations from renowned chefs and ever-evolving ship attractions.

Increasing awareness and demand for cruising

The creation and distribution of compelling and authentic experiential content is part of the company's strategy to increase awareness and demand for cruise vacations. The three network shows consistently rank as number one or number two in their time slots. Carnival Corp. said that with cruise vacations growing 20% faster than land-based vacations and with more people than ever cruising in 2018, the strong ratings are further evidence that global interest in cruising is becoming more and more popular.

Ships from all nine of the company's cruise line brands—Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Seabourn, AIDA Cruises, Costa Cruises, Cunard, P&O Cruises Australia and P&O Cruises—serve as the platform for engaging and emotional experiences in the 'Ocean Originals' programming.
