Carnival Corp. brands to source all cage-free eggs by 2025
Working with The Humane Society of the United States, Carnival Corp. has committed its 10 brands to sourcing all cage-free eggs by 2025.

Corporate spokesman Roger Frizzell said the company and all its brands recognize animal welfare is an important issue for their guests, and addressing this is part of an ongoing commitment.

'We have been working with our suppliers in this area, and look forward to continuing our efforts as we work towards our goal of 100 percent cage-free eggs,' he said.

According to Matthew Prescott, senior food policy director for The Humane Society of the United States, Carnival Corp. has shown leadership on animal welfare over the years. He added: 'We welcome the company's commitment to source 100 percent cage-free eggs.'

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. recently committed to 100% cage-free eggs by 2022.
