The 3,900-passenger Carnival Splendor will be permanently home-ported in Sydney from December 2019
Carnival Cruise Line will operate a record number of 77 sailings from Australia to the South Pacific, New Zealand and around Far North Queensland during its 2020 programme announced today.

It includes the first full year of sailings for the 3,900-passenger Carnival Splendor which will be home-ported in Sydney from December 2019.

Following the announcement on June 6 that the new international cruise ship terminal at Luggage Point will be completed in the second quarter of 2020 after a commercial agreement had been reached by Port of Brisbane and Carnival Australia and that Carnival Spirit will be permanently home-ported there, a number of exotic cruises are included. A seven-day cruise from Brisbane to Espiritu Santo, Mystery Island and Noumea on November 29, 2020, for example, costs from A$1,099 per person twin-share.

The 2020 programme also features a record number of 28 short cruises, giving passengers the opportunity to sample the product within five days or less.

Prices for Carnival Splendor’s three-night sampler cruise from Sydney on August 28, 2020, range from A$499 per person twin-share.
