Carnival Miracle - will begin weekly service starting in 2018
Carnival Cruise Line has agreed to extend its commitment to continue offering cruises from Port Tampa Bay through 2021. Carnival is the only line to base two ships year-round at the port.

The agreement was made on behalf of all Carnival Corp. brands operating from Tampa, including Holland America Line, which recently committed to deploying a larger ship on a seasonal basis.

Carnival Cruise Line began year-round sailings in October 1994, and has been a staple in the Tampa market ever since.

With the recent announcement of plans to deploy Carnival Miracle on weekly service starting in January 2018, Carnival will have about 300,000 annual passenger moves between two ships.

Port president and ceo Paul Anderson expressed gratitude to Carnival Corp. for its continued support.
