Carnival Fantasy's return had been delayed since Saturday
Carnival Fantasy was due to arrive at the Alabama Cruise Terminal at 4 p.m. Monday, following the Port of Mobile's opening after the passage of Hurricane Nate. A daylight navigation restriction is in place.

Carnival Fantasy's return had been delayed since Saturday because of the storm.

Due to the daylight transit restriction, the ship will remain overnight in Mobile and sail Tuesday morning at the earliest opportunity on a cruise to nowhere, returning Thursday. Embarkation was to take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday.

Passengers who sail will receive a pro-rated refund for the days missed. Those who cancel will receive a future cruise credit equal to the fare paid.

Carnival Cruise Line operates year-round four- and five-day sailings from the port.
