These are part of the ship’s inaugural season that includes previously announced voyages in the Mediterranean from Barcelona and to the Caribbean from New York and Miami
The 'long weekend' cruises will depart Thursdays and feature a full-day visit to Bermuda. Five cruises will be offered: May 24, June 21, July 19, Aug. 16 and Sept. 13, 2018.
Including the sailings aboard Carnival Horizon, Carnival Cruise Line will operate 18 Bermuda voyages in 2017-18, departing from Baltimore, Charleston, New York, Port Canaveral and Port Everglades.
Carnival Horizon is set to debut April 2, 2018, with a 13-day Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona. Other sailings from Barcelona include two seven-day cruises and a 10-day voyage, all in April 2018.
The ship will then reposition to the US with a 14-day trans-Atlantic crossing from Barcelona to New York, sailing May 9.
Carnival Horizon’s schedule from New York includes 12 eight-day cruises from May to September that visit Amber Cove (Dominican Republic), San Juan and Grand Turk.
Carnival Horizon will then shift to PortMiami to begin a year-round schedule of six- and eight-day Caribbean cruises starting Sept. 22, 2018. The ship will also offer a special two-day cruise to Nassau from Miami Sept. 20-22.
The sister of 2016's Carnival Vista, Carnival Horizon is under construction at Fincantieri's Marghera yard.
