Carnival Imagination docking to add food and beverage venues

Carnival Imagination docking to add food and beverage venues
Carnival Imagination is entering a three-week drydock, Sept. 4-25, to add new food and beverage concepts ranging from Guy's Burger Joint to Alchemy Bar.

Following the upgrades, the ship will resume its year-round schedule of three- and four-day Baja cruises from Long Beach, California.

Guy’s Burger Joint is a free-of-charge poolside venue developed in partnership with Food Network personality Guy Fieri. It serves hand-crafted burgers and fresh-cut fries.

Another new poolside spot, also at no extra charge, BlueIguana Cantina will serve freshly made burritos and tacos on homemade tortillas, with an elaborate toppings and salsa bar provided.

Carnival Imagination also will add RedFrog Rum Bar, a poolside watering hole serving Caribbean rum-based frozen drinks and beers, including Carnival’s own private label draught brew, ThirstyFrog Red.

Also poolside, the new BlueIguana Tequila Bar will serve tequila-based frozen drinks and beers.

Alchemy Bar is a 'cocktail pharmacy'-themed lounge where mixologists 'prescribe' concoctions from various elixirs and ingredients.

And Cherry On Top is a new shop selling bulk candy, fanciful gifts and novelties, and custom apparel.
