Celebrity Cruises confirms return to Australasia in 2017-18 season

Celebrity Cruises confirms return to Australasia in 2017-18 season
Celebrity Cruises has confirmed it will return to Australia and New Zealand with Celebrity Solstice for the 2017-18 summer season with departures from Sydney, Auckland and Honolulu.

Celebrity Solstice makes a 17-night trans-Pacific voyage from Honolulu to Sydney on October 2, 2017, calling at ports in Hawaii, French Polynesia and New Zealand.

The first cruise of the season from Sydney will be a two-night weekend sampler on October 20.

South Pacific itineraries include a 12-night combined Christmas and New Year cruise to Fiji departing December 21, 2017.

The ship will make several trans-Tasman voyages, including a new 12-night roundtrip from Sydney to New Zealand on January 22, 2018.

She will overnight in Cairns during two 12-night Queensland cruises -- one departing January 2, 2018 during the summer school holidays and the second an Easter cruise departing Good Friday, March 30.

On April 11, 2018 Celebrity Solstice makes an 18-night repositioning voyage from Sydney back to Honolulu.

Adam Armstrong, regional commercial director for Celebrity Cruises, has advised passengers to reserve their staterooms early. He said there are savings of up to A$1,000 per person for bookings made by July 31 next year.

‘While 2017 and 2018 may seem a long time away, the sooner you lock in your cruise holiday, the better,’ Armstrong said.

He said Celebrity Solstice is Australia’s highest rated cruise ship and she sells quickly.
