Celebrity Cruises donated 250 staterooms on Celebrity Edge's Nov. 27 pre-inaugural sailing to benefit United Way of Broward County
United Way of Broward County has a limited number of staterooms available at discounted rates for the Nov. 27 pre-inaugural cruise of Celebrity Edge.

All proceeds go to United Way of Broward County

Celebrity Cruises donated 250 rooms, with 100% of the proceeds to benefit United Way of Broward County, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The two-night cruise is from Broward County's Port Everglades, which is creating a customized, cutting-edge terminal for this new class of ship. Travelers will be among the first to experience Celebrity Edge prior to its early December naming by godmother Malala Yousafzai, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate, and its maiden voyage.

Auction of a Celebrity Suite

In addition, United Way of Broward County is auctioning off a luxurious Celebrity Suite for the Nov. 27-29 sailing. The suite comes with a spacious veranda, butler service, Bvlgari bath amenities, full in-suite breakfast, lunch and dinner, and access to suites enclave The Retreat, featuring a private pool, chic indoor and outdoor lounges and the exclusive restaurant Luminae.

Bidding closes Nov. 1.
