Celebrity Solstice bypassed Bali after recent Australian and UK governments' advice related to the potential for terrorist attacks in Indonesia
Celebrity Solstice skipped its Bali call on Monday following what Celebrity Cruises described as 'an abundance of caution' in light of concerns about security in Indonesia.

This includes recent travel advice from the Australian and UK governments related to the potential for terrorist attacks in the country.

'This decision was made in an abundance of caution, and we apologize for the impact on our guests' cruise. Our guests' vacation time is precious and we did not take this decision lightly. The safety of our guests and crew is always our foremost concern,' Celebrity said in a statement.

The line added it will continue to monitor the security situation in Indonesia and will notify passengers or their travel agents if there are changes to future sailings with Bali in the itinerary.
