Celebrity Edge, with its Magic Carpet, will be returning for a second season of Caribbean service in 2019/20
No surprise: Celebrity Edge will return to the Caribbean for a second season in 2019/20, following the ship's debut in the Caribbean next December and its recently announced inaugural Mediterranean stint in 2019.

Celebrity Edge is part of Celebrity Cruises' six-ship 2019/20 Caribbean program that's very consistent with the 2018/19 season, with the exception of one ship moving to Port Everglades from PortMiami and a new itinerary from San Juan.

Celebrity Edge again will operate seven-night eastern and western routes from Port Everglades. Destinations include Tortola, St. Maarten, Grand Cayman and Key West, among others. The two itineraries can be combined.

Fresh from a multimillion-dollar revitalization, part of the 'Celebrity Revolution,' Celebrity Equinox will continue year-round Caribbean service. Currently based at PortMiami, the ship will sail from Port Everglades beginning summer 2019. Destinations include Punta Cana, St. Thomas and Grand Cayman.

Celebrity Infinity will continue to offer four- and five-night getaways from Port Everglades, with alternating visits to Key West and Cozumel, and Key West and Nassau.

Celebrity Reflection again will operate 10- and 11-night 'Ultimate Caribbean' cruises, also from Port Everglades, with calls at a wide variety of destinations. Among them: Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia, Aruba, Curaçao, Costa Rica, Panama and Mexico.

Celebrity Silhouette—which will undergo 'Celebrity Revolution' updates in early 2020—will reprise its nine- and 12-night southern Caribbean sailings from Port Everglades. The nine-night itinerary includes Grand Cayman, Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, while the 12-night sailing visits Lesser Antilles destinations like St. Lucia, Grenada and Barbados.

And Celebrity Summit also will bring a new look to the islands during its 2019/20 season, following a 'Celebrity Revolution' renovation that features completely redesigned staterooms. Seven-night southern Caribbean sailings round-trip San Juan include a new itinerary to Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao.

Before that, in 2019, Celebrity Summit will once again operate seven-night Bermuda cruises and offer travelers the chance to visit both Bermuda and New England on a 10- or 11-night sailing, with calls at Portland and Bar Harbor, Maine, as well as Boston. Plus, the ship will reprise its one-of-a-kind 11-night vacation that includes an overnight in Boston for the Fourth of July and an overnight in Halifax on Canada’s birthday.

Bookings for Captain's Club members opened today, while sales to the general public open Thursday.
