Cape Liberty-based Celebrity Summit will be branching out with new itineraries to Greenland and Ireland and from Boston, and first visits to Newport, Rhode Island, and Charleston, South Carolina, in 2020.

Longer stays in port

The ship—which will undergo a 'Celebrity Revolution' update in early 2019—will expand itineraries to visit 19 destinations and seven countries. Celebrity Summit will stay for more than 10 hours in port at 56 stops, docking in 39 of those ports for more than 12 hours.

Statue of Liberty experience

New 10-night cruises will start the summer, taking travelers south to historic Charleston and to Bermuda. Another seven-night itinerary to Bermuda will include a new stop at Newport and an up-close experience with the Statue of Liberty as the ship circles Liberty Island before sailing out.

To Greenland, Dublin and back

In August, Celebrity Summit will travel between North America and Europe with a 14-night sailing from Cape Liberty to Dublin and then from Dublin to Boston. Travelers will visit Prins Christian Sund and Qaqortoq, Greenland, as well as Reykjavik, Iceland, and Halifax and Sydney, Nova Scotia on the cruise to Dublin. A stop in Cobh (for Cork) replaces Halifax on the trip from Dublin to Boston.

Boston to Canada/New England

Following this summer program, Celebrity Summit will settle in Boston, its new homeport, to operate 12-night Canada/New England round-trips for the fall season.
