Mannix, a former travel agent who has worked as a performer at sea, has spent more than 11 years in the cruise industry.
He was most recently district sales manager Victoria and Tasmania for RCL Cruises Australia and New Zealand and will be replaced by Wendy Anderson, currently district sales manager NSW, who will relocate to Melbourne.
‘Passionate, outgoing and with a wealth of experience’ is how Kathryn Valk, director sales and marketing for RCL Cruises Australia and New Zealand, describes Mannix.
‘We’re excited to see him take the Celebrity Cruises brand to new heights in this new role,’ Valk said.
She said his new appointment further cements Celebrity’s commitment to the region.
