Celebrity UK launches nationwide campaign looking for different views

Celebrity UK launches nationwide campaign looking for different views
As part of a campaign by Celebrity Cruises UK, a series of frames are popping up around the UK this autumn to encourage people to take photograph and capture a different view of something familiar.

Placed in 20 locations around central London, Chester, Birmingham, Weymouth, Canterbury and Southampton, the specially designed frames all capture a sight that allows passers-by to see a different perspective of a popular area.

Keen photographers have the chance to win a series of prizes - ranging from exclusive experiences with Celebrity Cruises’ ambassadors such as Oz Clarke and Great British Chefs, to a cruise holiday – by snapping a photo through any one of the frames. Using the hashtag #ADifferentView the images will be entered into a contest to celebrate the best unique perspectives of popular views.

The frames - each individually designed to reflect features of the Celebrity Cruises experience - all capture a sight that allows a different composition or perspective of a popular area.

Locations include views of iconic landmarks such as Tower Bridge, the V&A museum and Chelsea’s famous Albert Bridge in London, as well as Ocean Village in Southampton and Brindleyplace in Birmingham.

Frame materials are all based on objects or experiences found on-board Celebrity Cruises’ ships. They include canvas from cabanas on the top deck, turf to represent the expansive real grass lawn found at sea, Persian tiles from spa steam rooms, decking, and even a material that represents the ice surface found in the on-board martini bar.

The frames located throughout the UK are part of Celebrity's 'different view' marketing campaign which started last month with the launch of a new brand film.
