Celebrity's 2016-17 beefs up port overnights, adds Abu Dhabi and India
For its 2016-17 deployment, Celebrity Cruises plans many more overnight port stays including double overnights, maiden calls, new Arabian Sea and India itineraries and Signature Event Sailings that take in special celebrations. The line's ships will visit all seven continents.

Round-trip sailings from Abu Dhabi with calls at Dubai and Muscat are among the new itineraries.

Celebrity will offer twice as many double overnights in port as in the 2015-16 season, 17 new overnight ports—including in the Caribbean—and seven maiden calls. The new ports are in New Zealand, Denmark, Iceland, Japan, Thailand, Oman and the United Arab Emirates.

The double overnights are set for Bangkok, Beijing, Dubai, St. Petersburg and New Orleans.

Signature Event Sailings will highlight special celebrations like Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Carnival in Rio and the Cannes Film Festival.

Further details are to come in the weeks ahead.
