Luminae - 'soulful, technique-driven cuisine, while enjoying warm and personalized service in a relaxed, stylish setting'
Inspired by light, exceptional food, wine and luxury, Luminae is Celebrity Cruises' new exclusive dining experience for suite passengers.

Luminae will be introduced beginning in April.

John Suley, Celebrity's James Beard-featured executive chef, said he wants Luminae diners to savor 'soulful, technique-driven cuisine, while enjoying warm and personalized service in a relaxed, stylish setting.'

Celebrity chefs created the menus for the venue’s complimentary breakfast, lunch and dinner service. Each menu will be featured only once during a two-week cruise. Dishes will be made from scratch and feature regional and seasonal ingredients inspired by the destinations visited.

Among the choices will be caviar and crème fraîche, a creamy black truffle risotto with fricassee of wild mushrooms and Parmigiano-Reggiano, and a côte de bœuf with roasted root vegetables and béarnaise sauce. Desserts will include mascarpone cheesecake and pistachio nougatine with yuzu brown butter and apricot sorbet.

Some of Luminae's special touches are tableside preparation of signature dishes and the daily presentation of a new gourmet chocolates and desserts cart. The menus will be complete with pairings made by the restaurant’s dedicated head sommelier.

Luminae's wine list will feature more than 400 selections from top wine regions around the world.
