Celestyal switches to inclusive pricing for Cuba Cruise

Celestyal switches to inclusive pricing for Cuba Cruise
Celestyal Cruises is bundling shore excursions, an unlimited bar and beverage package, taxes, port charges and gratuities into pricing for the third season of its Cuba Cruise.

Rates start at US$1,529 per person for sailings from November through April.

Celestyal Cruises' Pythagoras Nagos, vp sales, said this season's enhanced product offers the 'unchallenged value-for-money cruise to the best of Cuba.'

Sailings aboard the 1,200-passenger Celestyal Crystal (formerly Louis Cristal) feature authentic Cuban entertainment and a menu of international and Cuban dishes.

The itinerary includes a two-day stay at Havana, a new call at Maria La Gorda on Cuba's western tip, Cienfuegos, Santiago de Cuba and Jamaica's Montego Bay. Passengers may embark in Havana or Montego Bay.

For those embarking at Havana, excursions included in the price are a Havana city tour, Cabo de San Antonio in Maria La Gorda, a Cienfuegos city tour, 'Panoramic Santiago' and, in Montego Bay, 'Greenwood Great House and Historic Falmouth.' Additional excursions can be purchased on board.

Celestyal’s Cuba Cruise focuses on Cuban culture, local interaction, dining in local restaurants, visiting working plantations and cigar factories, and exploring the island's architecture and biodiversity.

US citizens can legally sail by booking a comprehensive program with a US tour operator partner like Road Scholar, InsightCuba, Globus and Central Holidays or booking directly with Cuba Cruise and register for a people-to-people program with the US nonprofit Fund for Reconciliation and Development.
