Celestyal's Canada team markets Cuba Cruise, adds 2016 sailings

Celestyal's Canada team markets Cuba Cruise, adds 2016 sailings
Celestyal Cruises' sales network in Canada will now market both the Cuba Cruise brand, to operate an extended season with three extra departures in 2015/16, and Celestyal's Aegean and Adriatic sailings.

Reports that Celestyal's parent, the Louis Group, have acquired Cuba Cruise are not accurate, a Celestyal spokesman in Greece told Seatrade Insider.

For the 2015/16 season, Cuba Cruise will offer a new seven-night itinerary that includes two days in Havana and a new port, Maria La Gorda, known for snorkeling and SCUBA diving. The cruise will embark Mondays in Havana and Fridays in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Dec. 18 through April 11.

Passengers aboard Celestyal Crystal (formerly Louis Cristal) will experience authentic Cuban entertainment and international dining, with Cuba and Canadian specialties.

'For the last two years, we have experienced a rising popularity in our Cuba Cruise brand and positive feedback from both our passengers and partners. We are excited to announce the next phase of growth by welcoming a new team of colleagues in our Canadian based sales network working on the Cuba Cruise brand,' sales director Pythagoras Nagos said.
