Peter Kollar, head of international training and development, said the online elective course aligns with other destination courses available to members.
‘Destination courses really set the CLIA cuise agents apart as their specialised knowledge far exceeds general information than can be found elsewhere,’ Kollar said.
‘This particular elective is all about how to sell the northern Europe cruise regions and includes up to date port and terminal logistics, allowing agents to better service their clients.
Kollar said the course is available only to CLIA travel agent members and is accessible in CLIA’s dedicated Learning Academy.
However, he pointed out that membership registrations for 2018 are still open.
