CLIA members, including cruise lines, individual travel agents and travel agencies, can submit recommendations by Feb. 24.
The categories are Elite Cruise Counselor, for an individual travel agent who has demonstrated commitment to professional development through achievement of Elite Cruise Counselor or Elite Cruise Counselor Scholar status, the pinnacle of CLIA certification, and made a significant contribution to their agency.
Travel Agency Innovator is for a travel agency member who has demonstrated an innovative approach to promoting cruise travel and growing cruise sales.
Lifetime Achievement Award is for an individual from any area of the industry who is an advocate for cruise travel and has made remarkable contributions to the business.
Those chosen for induction will be honored at a gala event on April 22 at CLIA’s Cruise360 conference. Cruise360 will be held April 18-24, 2017 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center.
