CLIA is offering tips, tools and techniques to help travel agencies and agents leverage National Plan A Cruise Month.
Available to CLIA member travel professionals at cruising.org, the toolkit includes a press release agents can send to local media, posts to use on Facebook and Twitter, and an email template to send to prospects. All are customizable.
Other elements of the toolkit include cruise deals and promotions from CLIA cruise line members, plus logos and visuals to promote the campaign.
Also, agents can participate in a National Plan A Cruise Month webinar Aug. 28 at 11 a.m. EDT moderated by CLIA's Charles Sylvia, vp membership, and Lorri Christou, svp strategic marketing and communications.
Also, on Sept. 30, from noon to 2 p.m. EDT, using the hashtag #CruiseMonth, agents can participate in a Travel Agent National Plan A Cruise Month Twitter event to tweet along with CLIA for the chance to win prizes like cruise line experiences, professional development opportunities from CLIA and luggage.
CLIA agents can access cruise line offers at cruising.org/cruise-vacationer/national-plan-a-cruise-month. These promotions include as much as $1,500 off per couple on a river cruise, free upgrades, on-board spending money and signature beverage packages.
During the campaign CLIA will drive consumers to a CLIA-certified cruise specialist at cruising.org/cruise-vacationer/plan-a-cruise/clia-agent-finder.
