CLIA opens enrollment for 2017 individual agent program

CLIA opens enrollment for 2017 individual agent program
Cruise Lines International Association launched its 2017 individual agent membership program, providing travel agents with benefits, tools and resources to attract more clients and increase their earnings.

Based on member feedback, new benefits have been added for 2017.

All CLIA individual agents receive the CLIA EMBARC ID credential. For the first time, EMBARC IDs will be mailed directly to agents upon membership approval. Also new for this year, agents who are renewing do not need to submit a new photo.

Two free online courses are included in membership with access to CLIA’s Career Seascape, which offers an array of training opportunities, as well as a new entry-level Certified Cruise Counselor and completely refreshed ACC, MCC and ECC certification programs.

Personalized counseling is now offered, too, with the CLIA Professional Development Team available for one-on-one calls to help agents understand and choose the right certification to take their career to the next level.

Cruise Finder is a new online resource where agents can access ship information, itineraries, on-board amenities and programs across CLIA member lines.

Members also get discounted pricing on CLIA and Executive Partner and cruise line products, including CLIA certification courses, event registrations and more.
