CLIA outlines networking events at Seatrade Cruise Global
Cruise Lines International Association will host events including exclusive networking opportunities for its Executive Partners at Seatrade Cruise Global next week, while key officials from CLIA member lines highlight conference sessions.

The two events for Executive Partners give the chance to engage with more than 100 key cruise line executives. They are CLIA Business on the Beach, a cocktail and networking reception Monday evening, and CLIA Connect, Wednesday afternoon on the trade show floor. Both require registration.

Plus, acting CLIA ceo Cindy D’Aoust will welcome attendees to the State of the Global Cruise Industry Session from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Setting the course for the annual event, the session focuses on innovation and features leaders of the major cruise groups and members of CLIA's Global Executive Committee, including Arnold Donald, president and ceo, Carnival Corp. & plc; Frank Del Rio, president and ceo, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings; Pierfrancesco Vago, executive chairman, MSC Cruises; and Richard Fain, chairman and ceo, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.

The session also includes a panel of three additional cruise line leaders talking about their innovative approaches. They are Charles Robertson, chairman and ceo, American Cruise Lines/Pearl Seas Cruises; Edie Rodriguez, ceo and president, Crystal Cruises; and Tara Russell, president, Fathom, and global impact lead, Carnival Corp. 'Travel Detective' Peter Greenberg will moderate the sessions and Peter Yesawich, vice chairman, MMGY Global, will share relevant research and insights.

'The CLIA events at Seatrade Cruise Global are designed to maximize our members' networking power and conference experience,' D'Aoust added. 'I am confident that the topics and conversation throughout the week will be invaluable to those in attendance and set the stage for another successful year for the entire cruise industry.'

CLIA said it continues to enhance its international Executive Partner program. New 2016 benefits include an invitation to the CLIA Summit At Sea, invitations to inaugural cruises on new ships, promotional opportunities on CLIA Cruise TV, special cruise line offers and the new EMBARC ID.

The CLIA booth at Seatrade Cruise Global is No. 1003 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center.
