Claus Bødker believes strong collaboration between the partners in CruiseCopenhagen lies behind the high level of guest satisfaction
A guest satisfaction survey conducted by CruiseCopenhagen and Stromma showed 97% of cruise guests were ’satisfied’ or ’very satisfied’ with their stay in Copenhagen.

Copenhagen received high ratings in all categories of the survey from the airport, transport and accommodation to the restaurants, attractions and local hospitality. On a scale from 1-5, all categories are rated higher than 4.

According to director of CruiseCopenhagen, Claus Bødker, the high level of guest satisfaction is a result of a unique collaboration between CruiseCopenhagen and a wide range of partners at the destination.

’I have no doubt that the strong collaboration between the partners in CruiseCopenhagen, is one of the main reasons for the high level of guest satisfaction. The network successfully joins together the entire value chain in the Danish cruise tourism to secure the best experience for every visiting cruise ship, guest and crew member,’ he said.

The news of the high satisfaction level amongst the Copenhagen cruise guests, was announced at CruiseCopenhagen’s annual general assembly held this week in Tivoli Gardens, in central Copenhagen.

Tivoli is one of the partners in Cruise Copenhagen’s growing network, which expanded by 20% during the last year. Today the group consists of 64 different partners.

The majority of the cruise guests traveling to Copenhagen come from Germany, US, UK, Italy and Spain. This year the port is expecting a record 875,000 cruise guests. Last year it chalked up 850,000 cruise visitors.

About the survey

The survey was conducted by CruiseCopenhagen in corporation with Stromma and data collected between May and August 2017 from 637 cruise guests responding to a questionnaire during their stay in the Danish capital.
