Elizabeth Webb has wide experience in developing new markets for Tourism Tropical North Queensland
Cairns-based Coral Expeditions has moved to bigger premises at 246 Hartley Street, but all contact numbers remain unchanged.

The company that was founded as Coral Princess Cruises by Capt. Tony Briggs in 1984 and bought by Kallang Capital Holdings in 2014, was renamed Coral Expeditions last June.

It has just completed an inaugural season of expedition cruises to Tasmania and will launch its first Asia programme in November.

It continues to operate three- to seven-day Great Barrier Reef cruises year-round and cruises seasonally around the Kimberley, Cape York, Arnhem Land, Papua New Guinea and the South Pacific.

‘It’s an exciting time for Coral Expeditions and to support our expansion we have created two new roles,’ group gm Mark Fifield said.

Fifield said Elizabeth Webb, who has been appointed sales distribution manager, has had 14 years with Tourism Tropical North Queensland. This included a role as sales and marketing manager for the emerging markets of China, Korea and India. She is also a former senior sales executive for Tropic Wings Cairns Tours and Charters.

Jasmin Budden, who worked in international marketing for Australia’s Boost Juice Bars, has taken up the role of branding and communications specialist, supporting sales and marketing executive Tiffany Marcantelli with the production of sales materials and managing the company’s newly revamped website and social media channels.
