Costa launches two new Meditearranean beach itineraries
Costa is launching two exclusive new Mediterranean cruise routes next summer:  one is a week-long vacation on Costa neoClassica, departing Bari and heading for the beaches of the Greek islands; the other is also a 7-day cruise, this time on Costa neoRiviera and taking guests to Sardinia, the Balearic Islands and Spain.

53,000gt Costa neoClassica will operate Saturday departures from Bari running from May 13 through September 30, 2017, featuring calls to the islands of Corfu, Crete (Heraklion), Santorini, with a long port call until midnight, and Mykonos, where the ship will stay overnight allowing cruisers to make the most of the beaches and the local nightlife.

The other innovation is a 7-day cruise on 48,200gt Costa neoRiviera sailing from June 4 through September 24, 2017, departing Savona every Sunday and heading for some of the most popular beach destinations in the Western Mediterranean.

First call is Porto Torres, the gateway to the beaches of north-west Sardinia, followed by the Balearic Islands, with stopovers in Minorca, Ibiza – where the ship will stay overnight, giving guests the chance to go on a tour to Formentera - and Palma de Mallorca; the last port of call before returning to Savona will be Tarragona/Barcelona, with another long stopover.
