CroisiEurope's third paddlewheel ship to sail the Po and Venice Lagoon

CroisiEurope's third paddlewheel ship to sail the Po and Venice Lagoon
After launching its first shallow draft paddlewheel river cruise vessel on the Loire in Nantes in 2015 and the second one on the Elbe in Berlin in 2016, Strasbourg-based CroisiEurope is to dedicate its third newbuild to the Italian river Po in 2018.

Designed with a draft of between 0.90 to 1.05mtr, the two, soon-to-be three ships are able to navigate rivers year-round regardless of water levels.

Being built in Saint-Nazaire like its sisters and using the same advanced paddlewheel technology, the two-deck third ship is 110mtr long and 11.35mtr wide with 57 outside cabins carrying 114 passengers.

The latest ship will feature Wi-Fi, flat-screen televisions, a single-seating panoramic restaurant, a large cocktail lounge with dance floor and a spacious sun deck with swimming pool.

Expected to enter service spring 2018, the unnamed ship will sail six-night cruises between Venice and Cremona, with calls and excursions in Venice Lagoon islands, Padua, Ferrara, Verona, Mantua, Parma and Cremona.
